FAILURE IS GROWTH
Through tribulations in life, I wanted to make a posted with symbolization of new beginnings and how failure creates growth in the end. Using different blending modes, color grading and typography research, I landed on this. The coi fish and butterfly symbolize new change, floating atop a black and white version of ones self. The gothic text symbolizes the harsh feeling of failure.

Social Media is very prevalent in everyone’s lives, daily. Some may feel that the process of posing for an audience of your closest friends or as far as coworkers, you feel the pressure. Sometimes the constant exposure to the bad news, sad stories, etc., can be detrimental to ones health. Through many blending modes, meticulous masking and recoloring, I ended with this product.

At Dutch Bros, we have a creed that is followed when we are working within the shops. While creeds may seem too specific for some people, the Dutch Creed is more of a general, yet personable document. Through blending modes and typography, I created this for my internship.
